That was the main part of Supernatural- the fact that there were things that physically did not happened.
Angels do not lose their grace- they either obey or die.
This was stupid- THERE WAS NO POINT TO THAT CHARACTER UNLESS SHE DID SOMETHING THAT CHANGED THE OVERALL IDEA OF TEH STORY.
She did not.
I don't care if she slept with Dean. i don't CARE if she was meant to be something more than cheesy.
THAT DID NOT WORK OUT AT ALL WELL.
The angels- bad guys, probably.
The demons- bad guys, probably.
Anna- a total waste of time. That character was pointless.
Devious Comments
If there was anything Anna did, besides ultimately convincing Dean to talk about his time in hell, was that she showed a contradiction in Kripke's own story - that angels do in fact have emotions. Albeit, they may not be very strong or maybe few and far between, but nevertheless they do, despite Kripke's attempts to say otherwise. If she was unhappy enough to disobey in the first place that was an emotion, Castiel was sorry and even Uriel stated that his companion "liked" Dean.
The more I think on the episode, the more I'm genuinely enjoying the progression of the story, even though it wasn't as progressive as we may have wanted. We'll have to wait until the 15th of January, and besides, we still have 12 episodes left for this season.
We will have to see, and this pair of episodes will likely play a bigger role than we can see at the moment in the future.

"When his life was ruined, his family killed, his farm destroyed, Job knelt down on the ground and yelled up to the heavens, "Why god? Why me?" and the thundering voice of God answered, "There's just something about you that pisses me off." ~Stephen King.
I think that, again, Kripke contradicted himself. The show was, in my eyes, about how humans coped, not about some lovesick angel who decided to become human.
Actually, that part I had no real problem with. It was how she was able to become an angel again. The whole middle part really irked me.
I don't believe that it's a valid part of the show- redemption is not always possible. Let's try somewhere else." I don't believe that redemption would have, or should have, been possible for her.
And then there was the whole "oh, she had these tantrums when she was little.
Oh, she suppressed the memory.
Oh, look, she remembers now."
That whole section did not fly for me. it was too cheesy. If I wanted cheesy,I'd watch smallvile.
Thank you, though. I guess I'll mull it over.

As for the ability for her to become an angel again I will admit, it was a little... quirky... and yes, I would've preferred to see Uriel kill her. (Killing Winchester girlfriends is an unfortunate trend haha) But personally, besides the whole... angel... thing... It was very nice to see Uriel and Castiel in action rather than just talking, that scene was cherry. Although... Castiel got laid on his ass... mmmm...
And there was a shiny amount of Misha Collins, as well as a healthy dose of conflicted Jensen. Oh, and Ruby 2.0 was as annoying as ever, but her character developed tremendously.

I guess it was the plot points involving Anna that really bothered me. She was not the sort of character you should delve into so quickly. She should share Bella's and Jo's unfortunate fate- because the writers could not spend enough time on them, they were dropped.
Anna did not give us enough reasons to like her- she was thrown in, almost at the last minute.
the action was good. Misha is yummy...

That part I liked.
